What is the Ohio Early Literacy Crosswalk?
The Ohio Early Literacy Crosswalk is a cross-reference to help librarians and other early childhood professionals understand how the first and second editions of Every Child Ready to Read® @ Your Library® relate to each other and to two early literacy frameworks used in early childhood education:
    ...
    and Literacy Development Domain
Head Start Child Development & Early Learning Framework: Language and Literacy Domains
By uncovering similarities among the frameworks, the Crosswalk facilitates programming, training, and education by librarians, and collaboration between librarians and other early childhood professionals, to boost the school readiness of young children. The Ohio Early Literacy Crosswalk was inspired by a Skill Comparison Crosswalk (PDF) created by Saroj Ghoting for Washington, DC and the DCPL STAR Initiative.
